A tour in Provence in a 2 CV on the roads and bridges of Provence

We were honored to organize this tour for Meg and William.  Our goal was, of course, to please them.

So we thought about this stay around 3 themes: Bridges, Land and Nature.

For Meg and William we wanted total relaxation in order to enjoy their stay to the fullest while admiring exceptional landscapes during hikes and meeting local farmers to taste the good local products, all of this in a 2CV on the roads of Provence.

Over 6 days we proposed:

Day 1:

-          Visit on their own of the beautiful city of Avignon, from the impressive Palace of the Popes to the famous Pont Saint Bénezet, both on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.

-          Visit of the Pont du Gard on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.

Day 2:

-          Ride through the Luberon and the Ventoux, to see beautiful lavender fields, the abbey of Senanque followed by the visit of a farm on the Plateau de Sault, producing lavender essential oil.

Day 3:

-          Ride around the charming village of Fontaine de Vaucluse with a stop at the Gallas aqueduct.

Visit of Isle sur la Sorgue, the “Venise Comtadine”, of the Antique dealers market and of the Parting of the waters.

Day 4:

-          Discovery of Arles, the “little Rome” at the gates of the Camargue Natural Park.

Stop on the Pont de l’Anglois, made immortal by Van Gogh.

Car ride through the little roads of the Alpilles with a new stop at the Barbegal aqueduct.

Day 5 Ride around the village of Aureille

-          Discovery of beautiful views of the Alpilles chain, of the Roman aqueduct and visit of an organic olive oil mill.

-          Visit of a local producer of preserves, tasting and friendly exchange around his production.

Day 6 Market and vineyard

Walk in Saint Remy de Provence, visit of its market.

Tasting and walk in a vineyard producing a delicious organic wine.
