We offer you a walk between the Luberon Mountains and the Monts de Vaucluse, an unforgettable experience off the beaten track. This is a linear walk, starting in Viens and finishing in Rustrel. Along the way, you'll admire some magnificent scenery, finishing with the most spectacular: the Provençal Colorado, a site renowned for its colourful landscapes, ochre cliffs, winding paths and unique rock formations.
3 hours of exceptional panoramas (duration and price vary according to your level). The theme of this tour is to discover the vibrant landscapes and natural wealth of the region.
Itinerary : You'll start the walk from the village of Viens, which has dominated the upper Calavon valley for a thousand years.
You will then make your way along the edge of the plateau on a beautiful balcony trail, discovering the countryside below and, further north, the gorges of Oppedette, the Vachères plateau and the Lure mountains on the horizon.
After leaving the summit of Piéroux on your left, your path heads west, offering a new panorama: the Monts de Vaucluse, with its peaks above 1000 m, at the foot of which flows the Doa and the villages of Gignac, nearby, and Rustrel, further away.
At the end of the hike, you'll be able to contemplate the palette of colours offered by the old ochre quarries of the Provencal Colorado.
