You will stay in the centre of the village, 500 metres from the first bakery.

Maubec is a perched medieval village, located between the Luberon and the Calavon plain. It is a former 12th century town. You can discover the remains of the important fortification of the old town and the Château de Maubec,
At the top of the town, you can discover, during beautiful walks in a green setting, charming authentic houses. Remains of the past will also delight your eyes: stone niches, vaulted passages, cobbled alleys, wells and norias, one of which is remarkable.
You can also admire an 18th century belfry, an 18th century church, rock-cut tombs around the old church, and two Gallo-Roman tombs dating from the 2nd century, confirming the theory of an occupation of the plain at that time.
The village of Maubec has a good geographical location, ideal for visiting the Luberon (Cavaillon - Gordes axis) and Provence (A7 motorway Aix-en-Provence - Avignon).
