You can find many historic monuments like the paddle wheel mill or a very beautiful church perched on a former limestone quarry.
This church dominates the village.
There is a very pretty view of the Carpentras canal and of the very beautiful Saint Pierre mill.
Its old village is typical of the area.
It has beautiful buildings made of local stones beautifully renovated.
The village of Les Taillades is rich in natural space, ideal for those who love nature and sports.
The village rests against the Luberon forest.
The village is the starting point for nice hikes.
Not far, you can do canoe-kayak from Fontaine de Vaucluse (15 kms) toward Isle sur la Sorgue.
Many bicycle rides are also possible in order to travel on the small roads of Provence to visit the perched villages of the Luberon (Gordes and Bonnieux, classified among the most beautiful villages of France), or of the Alpilles Natural Park.
The closest big cities are:
Avignon (45 km), Aix en Provence (70km) and Marseille (80km).
