At the top of the village, you can discover, during a short walk, charming authentic houses. Very well-preserved vestiges of the past mark out your path and will know how to enchant you: stone niches, passages under vaults, cobbled streets, wells and norias. Maubec is a village steeped in a centuries-old history, that of Provence.
You will also be able to admire an 18th century belfry, an 18th century church, rock tombs near the old church, two Gallo-Roman burials dating from the 2nd century and which lend credence to the thesis of an occupation of the plain by the Romans, already then.
The village enjoys a good geographical location for visiting the Luberon (Cavaillon - Gordes axis) and all of Provence (A7 Aix-en-Provence - Avignon motorway).
