This Provencal bastide is located in the countryside at approximately 3 km of the center of the village of Cheval-Blanc, at the foot of the Luberon Natural Park, in the Vaucluse in Provence
Cheval-Blanc is a little Provencal village where it is very nice to live. Small streets and shops are there. Very good restaurants will delight your taste buds.
The village offers a small rural heritage with, among others, a paddle wheel and the Saint-Paul church, with bells recuperated from other chapels now gone.
Historically, Cheval-Blanc got its name from the inn which bore that name. It served as a staging post for the travelers who took the ferry to cross the river.
The village of Cheval-Blanc is also surrounded by orchards and agricultural land.
You are only a few kilometers away from the high touristic spots of the region.
The discovery of the villages of the South Luberon, on the road of the castles of Provence toward the city of Pertuis is very appreciated, especially by bicycle riders. The Castle of Lourmarin and the castle of La Tour d’Aigues are very famous.
For hikers, the Luberon paths will be a breath of fresh air, especially the paths of Valloncourt and the Trout du Rat.
During your stay in the vacation rental in Cheval-Blanc, you can also discover the little perched villages of Provence (Gordes, Lourmarin, Bonnieux...) or visit l’Isle sur la Sorgue and Fontaine de Vaucluse and see many Provencal markets.
For the more sports oriented, there is a public tennis (6 kms), an equitation center (5 kms) and a golf (20 kms)

The closest large cities are Cavaillon (6km), Avignon (35km), Aix en Provence (60km) and Marseille (85 kms).
