We offer you a day en amoureux, a ride in a caleche across the beautiful landscapes of the Luberon.
We invite you to share a friendly moment in the company of Ollivier, a native of the area who loves his region.
You will travel around on small Provencal country paths.
The Luberon Natural Regional Park in a calèche, will be a unique experience for you.
At the horses' pace you will discover a unique heritage: the ochers of Roussillon.
The natural formations of ocher and its use by man will no longer be a mystery to you.
You will explore how the ochers are extracted and you will visit the decanting tanks.
Only 2 ocher sites exist in Europe Roussillon is one of them.
The ochers are the result of a unique geological formation which originated more than 230 million years ago, creating a soil with unique red and gold colors covering the mountain of the Luberon with a silky and shimmering finery.
Over the course of a day we suggest :
A visit to the ocher quarry
A visit to the Conservatory of Color,
Lunch break in the village of Roussillon with, if you so desire, a picnic lunch prepared by a chef with local and organic products.
The return will take place at the end of the day with the discovery of the landscapes, fauna and flora which flourish in the Luberon.
A travel notebook will be given to you to indicate where and when to meet.
