Would you like to discover Sainte Victoire in Aix-en-Provence ?
We propose a hike to encounter this mythical mountain, symbol of Provence, painted by many artists, especially Paul Cézanne. 6 hours of exceptional panorama.
It is a circle hike starting at the village of Vauvenargues.
The guide will enjoy showing you this exceptional natural space.
You will observe various ecosystem , biodiversity, on the shady side of Sainte-Victoire, from the foot of the mountain to the crests.
It is located on a knoll south of the village of Vauvenargues. It was bought by Picasso in 1958 who was buried there in 1973.
You will then start the climb.
For a good half hour, the vegetation is a dense underbrush.
To get to the crests.
A beautiful 360° landscape is before you! Your effort is thus rewarded.
The view from above of the Cengle plateau and of the village of Saint-Antonin.
And finally you will end the hyke by the Descente des Venturiers
Going down will start toward the Prieure, then after a few turns, it will continue on the large path of the Venturiers.
A magnificient view will be offered to you of the valley, Lake Bimont, and, in the distance, the Luberon, the Ventoux and the Mountain of Lure.

It is a hike of average difficulty with a few steep and/or stony areas, measuring 14 kms and of a 6 hours duration.
Participants: minimum 6 - maximum 15 - minimum age : 8
The price for adults is 30€ per person and 22€ for children.
