Paul Cézanne was born in Aix-en-Provence, on January 19, 1839.
He was a famous painter who today enjoys international fame.
He was a member of the Impressionist movement and a precursor to Cubism.
The landscapes of the area were his true inspiration which he conveyed on many canvases. We all know the Sainte-Victoire Mountain drawn tirelessly by the painter.

14 : 00 Visit of Cézanne’s studio
Not to be missed for anybody who wishes to walk in the steps of Paul Cézanne !
You will visit the painter Cézanne's studio.
This place is historically charged, showing the life of the artist as if time had stopped.
You will find there the objects that were dear to him to realize his works.
the models for his last still lives, his furniture, his work equipment and a thousand other intense details which will link you to the art born within these walls.
A travel notebook will be given to you to indicate where and when to meet.
This urban promenade is open to all from April 1 to October 31, 2015 at 10:00 h.
It can be followed in French and in English.
