In the space of a minibus excursion we invite you to step into the past !
A day under the sign of history in Provence.
Some of these signature landmarks have more than 40 centuries of history!!!
During this escapade, you will discover the famous Pont du Gard.
The site is classified as world heritage by UNESCO. It is the most visited ancient monument in France and the most frequented tourist site of the Languedoc-Roussillon.
This architectural marvel is the best conserved part of the Roman aqueduct which provided water for the city of Nimes in the 1st century.
The Pont du Gard site is also illustrious for the beauty and diversity of its natural environment, located in the garrigue !
On this same site, it is possible to discover the entire history of the Pont du Gard, as well as those of its builders by visiting the museum and its temporary expositions.
Then you may plunge into the heart of the Alpilles Regional Natural Park starting with the discovery of the remarkable village of Baux-de-Provence !
Perched on a 245-meter rocky spur, this spectacular village perfectly illustrates the Provencal art of living.
Registered village, Notable Site of Taste, Most Beautiful Villages of France, all those labels indicate that the village of Baux-de-Provence is a site of exceptional prestige in the Alpilles.
You will be given some free time in order to visit its historic pedestrian center, to linger in its narrow streets and to discover the small squares, the shaded terraces...
You will also admire the beautiful view of the Alpilles range from this perched village. You can enjoy this free time to discover its castle, the Santon museum, the Hotel des Porcelets or the church of Saint-Vincent.
A not-to-be-missed stop in Provence!
During your ride you will be asked if you want to make a photo stop at Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. The small town of Saint Rémy de Provence is located between the Pont du Gard and Les Baux de Provence.
We suggest a stop for photos on the site of the Glanum Antiquities in order to immortalize the beautiful landscapes often painted by Vincent Van Gogh. You may also photograph architectural treasures such as the Arc de Triomphe or the Mausoleum dating from the 1st century BC located near the Glanum site.
On Wednesdays, the photo stop at the Antiquities is replaced by free time to stroll in the Provençal market in the heart of the center of Saint Rémy de Provence. You may walk in the beautiful small streets and squares and admire many colorful stands with the various perfumes of Provence!
