In the heart of Aix en Provence, Mathilde will welcome you to prepare and enjoy a seasonal meal.
Each day of the week has its theme: Sweets with the must-have macaroons, the seasonal pastries, beautiful local fish, meat from mountain-raised cattle and fresh vegetables and fruits from the market.
The class can be in French or in English.
It's on the first floor of a bourgeois apartment of the old Aix en Provence that Mathilde's kitchen is hidden.
A perfect place for those who want to participate in a friendly culinary workshop done simply.
The morning will start with a visit to the AIX-EN-PROVENCE market.
The great Aix en Provence market is located steps from the workshop.
You will select the fresh seasonal products necessary to make the meal.
Then you will cook a complete delicious menu according to the week's program.
Mathilde will guide you and will enjoy teaching you techniques, tricks and know-how which can be used for many other recipes.
At the end of the class you will have the pleasure of eating the meal you have prepared together, in joy and good humor.
During the Christmas holidays, holiday menus are featured: Foie gras workshop
You will first make a half-cooked foie gras (400 g approximately): to bring to the house to enjoy a few days later
Then you will make Raviolis de foie gras with chive cream.
You will finish by preparing a creme brulee with foie gras (to enjoy on the spot with a glass of wine)
