YOUR HORSEBACK RIDE IN THE ALPILLES, IN THE HEART OF NATURE.
Through its wild nature, a 16 km horseback ride is offered to you.
With your riding companion, you will discover this nature, still preserved and wild.
The Alpilles fauna and flora are very present in this protected space.
Many animal species have their habitat in the Alpilles and can be observed in this territory during the ride.
The Aureille flora is essentially Mediterranean.
More than 800 vegetal species have been counted.
The olive trees give shape to the Aureille landscapes.
Along the ride, you will admire the landscape composed of hackberries and small size Kermes oak trees and, at the bottom of the valley, protected vegetal species” the summer niveole or the heliantheme.
A 3 HOUR HORSE RIDE IN THE ALPILLES MOUNTAINS.
You will discover the Alpilles and its exceptional colors, with its mix of limestone and the reflection of sun rays.
The Civadieres Mountain and its red bars near the Tower of Opies, highest point at 498m of the Alpilles mountains.
The Tower of Opie is located in the northeast of the Crau plain and offers a pretty view of the Mont Ventoux, the Petit Luberon and, of course, on the entirety of the Alpilles mountains.
During this ride in nature, you will go through many of the olive groves of this area.
This horseback ride will bring you to the castle of Aureille, remains of the 12th century.
You will arrive close to the center of the village of Aureille.
You will be able to go through the small streets of this village which are still preserved and go to your vacation rental in Aureille or to other pretty vacation rentals in the Alpilles.
Because of some areas, this horse ride is not advisable for people suffering from fear of heights. Pants (jeans/pants) and sneakers are advised.
