Morning
You will start the outing by a panoramic tour of the vineyards of Chateauneuf du Pape, « area with 13 grape varieties »,
In 2 different wine domaines, the notion of « terroir » will be evoked, the various grape varieties, the wine-making process and aging.
Tastings of white and red wines are included.
The afternoon,
You will go in the direction of the famous du Pont du Gard site.
On the Unesco World Heritage List, it is the best preserved section of the Roman aqueduct which brought drinking water to the city of Nîmes.
Then you will continue toward les Baux de Provence
This charming medieval village is in the heart of the Alpilles Natural Regional Park. It was constructed on a 254 m high rocky spur.
And finally, you will make a last stop in the village of Gordes
Known for its dry stone architecture, this perched village will offer you a panorama which will take your breath away. It is classified as one of the most beautiful villages of France.
Free time will permit you to have lunch (not included - option).
A roadbook will be given to you to indicate where and when to meet.
