In his 12 seat calèche you will enjoy a true trip through time, along some small provençal paths.
You will crisscross the Luberon Natural Regional Park in your calèche, following the rhythm of the horses, encountering a unique heritage: the ochers of Roussillon
The ochers are the result of a unique geological formation which originated more than 230 million years ago, creating a soil with unique red and gold colors covering the mountain of the Luberon with a silky and shimmering finery.
The natural formations of ocher and its use by man will no longer be a secret for you.
You will explore how the ochers are extracted and you will visit the decanting tanks.
Over the course of the day we suggest :
- A visit to the ocher quarry
- A visit to the Roussillon village
- A visit to the Ocres trails and mines of Bruoux
- A stop in the village of Roussillon with, if you so desire, a picnic lunch prepared by a chef with local and organic products.
The return will take place at the end of the day with the discovery of the landscapes, fauna and flora which flourish in the Luberon.
A travel voucher will be given to you to indicate the time and place of the meeting.

He will be very happy to show you the Luberon at the rhythm of his horses’ steps, while demonstrating his love for his land.
He speaks : French, English, Spanish and Provençal.
