Following the steps of the painter Paul Cézanne

He was a member of the Impressionist movement and a precursor to Cubism.

He painted numerous Provençal landscapes, particularly the countryside of Aix-en-Provence.

Notably, he created several paintings of the Sainte-Victoire Mountain.

Over the course of a day we suggest :

10 : 00 a.m.  Guided visit of Aix en Provence

A tour guide will have you discover the city of Aix-en-Provence as Paul Cezanne lived it,… the streets of his childhood, the places that he loved,… You also will make a visit to the city museum in order to discover 10 of his works.

Duration of the visit : 2h – with a tour guide

12 : 00 p.m. Lunch in a traditional restaurant in the center of Aix-en-Provence

14 : 00  Visit of Cézanne’s studio

A timeless moment in Cézanne’s studio where the objects dear to him are displayed, the models of his last still lives, his furniture, his work tools, a thousand intense details which will link you to the works born within these walls.

A travel notebook will be given to you to indicate where and when to meet.

The Cézanne studio is closed on Sundays in January, February and December , as well as on  January 1, May 1 and December 25.
